Greetings visitors. We decided to start a blog to put our thoughts and reflections on the personal injury and work site accident claims that we handle.

Earlier this year our firm were honoured to be invited by our one of clients to give a webinar on work injury compensation claims and the process, (Seminar Tour).

It was well received and appreciated by the underwriters and insurance brokers who had been invited to attend the talk. We covered the structure of the Work Injury Compensation process under statute and discussed the key issues such as what constitutes a work injury, how do latent medical conditions such as ischemic heart disease, neurological issues fit into the scheme of compensation under the act? What is means to suffer an injury out of one’s employment? What type of evidence is needed to prove that a heart attack or a stroke can be considered a work injury? Many questions were raised and we hopefully answered them as well as we could. We look forward to more of such client interactions in the future.
